PostgreSQL NUMERIC Types
PostgreSQL NUMERIC Types is a SQL data type in the Data Types category. PostgreSQL numeric types: NUMERIC/DECIMAL for exact math, REAL/DOUBLE for approximate, MONEY for currency. The syntax is NUMERIC(precision, scale) / DECIMAL(precision, scale) / MONEY. It returns numeric value. A close relative is INT, which standard integer type. Range: -2147483648 to 2147483647 (signed).
