USE
USE is a SQL statement in the DDL Statements category. Selects a database as the default for subsequent queries (MySQL, MariaDB). The syntax is USE database_name;. It returns default database changed. A typical example: USE my_company; SELECT * FROM employees; -- Uses my_company database A close relative is CREATE TABLE, which creates a new table in the database with specified columns, data types, and constraints.
