CREATE USER
CREATE USER is a SQL statement in the Administration category. Creates a new database user account. The syntax is CREATE USER 'username'@'host' IDENTIFIED BY 'password';. It returns new user. A typical example: CREATE USER 'app_user'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'secure_pass_123'; A close relative is GRANT, which grants specific privileges (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, ALL) to a user on a database/table.
