SQL Playground
The SQL playground lets you write and run SQL queries directly in your browser with no database server, setup, or account. It is the fastest way to try the examples you find across SQL Reference: every statement page, guide, and blog post can be tested here, edited, and re-run until the behavior makes sense. Use it to experiment with joins across multiple tables, aggregate functions with GROUP BY, window functions, subqueries, or common table expressions and see real result sets immediately. Not sure where to start? Look up a statement such as SELECT, SELECT *, SELECT DISTINCT, WHERE, AND / OR / NOT, IN, BETWEEN, LIKE, IS NULL / IS NOT NULL, ORDER BY, LIMIT / OFFSET, GROUP BY, HAVING, CASE, COALESCE, NULLIF, FETCH FIRST / FETCH NEXT, SELECT TOP, SELECT INTO, FOR UPDATE and paste its example into the editor. The playground runs entirely client-side, so your queries never leave your machine, and it supports the standard SQL syntax covered throughout the SQL Reference documentation and guides.
